Making a Rainbow

What To Do:
This fun and simple science experiment will introduce your child to rainbows. The only prerequisite is a sunny day. Place the glass baking dish flat on a table. Lean a mirror up against one side of the dish. Turn the dish until the mirror faces the sun. Add water filling the dish halfway. Hold up the paper at the end of the dish away from the mirror and move it around. What colors did your child see?
