Putting on a Jacket

Target Age:
Early Three-Year Old
Materials You Will Need:
child sized jacket
What To Do:
Most 3 year old children want to do things for themselves, but many still struggle with putting on a jacket. Show your child a quick trick for putting on a jacket right side up and right side out by arranging the jacket on the floor first. Tell your child to stand by the tag or hood, insert his/her arms in the holes, then bring the jacket up and over his/her head. It takes a little practice, but it makes getting ready to leave the house a little more fun, (and less hectic for you).
