Children enjoy moving through small spaces. This activity will help develop your child's gross motor skills. Create a tunnel using a cardboard box. Show your child how to roll balls through the tunnel. Observe your child going in and out of the tunnel.
Put your child's favorite toys in the tunnel. Let your child have a small flashlight inside to look through favorite books. Your child will enjoy exploring the "new space!"
Put a sheet over the ends of the tunnel to make it 'private.'
