Materials You Will Need:
2 sets of large blocks (three different colors ), tray, 3 containers
What To Do:
Children learn through their sense of sight. Enjoy this sorting activity with your child as you sort colored blocks with your child. Place a tray with the blocks and three containers in front of your child. Place a different colored block in each of the 3 containers. After you put a blue block in the first container, ask your child to find another blue block and put it in the same container. Continue with the other colored blocks and containers. Your child may just enjoy putting the blocks in and out of the container and is not interested in sorting them.
