Middle Two-Year Old
Materials You Will Need:
a doll house, a fire station, a garage, etc.
What To Do:
Children use imaginary play to make sense out of the world. Observe your child playing with the doll house, the garage, or whatever toy he/she chooses. The development of the imagination and language go hand and hand.
Variations:
Field trips to the fire department, airport, or shopping center garage provide opportunities for vocabulary enrichment.
